A gift to the Murray Bookchin Legacy Foundation keeps the archive and this site open and, in turn, helps fund the organizations carrying social ecology forward — like those listed below. You can also give to Murray's family directly.
Give to the Foundation
In collaboration with the Murray Bookchin Trust, your gift funds three things: archives and cataloging — much of Murray’s original notes, letters, speeches, and recordings remains untranscribed; translations and reissues, including the push to bring his work into Arabic; and the conferences, lectures, and forums that keep the ideas in motion. It also helps support the aligned organizations listed below. The Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) — gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
The Foundation is also looking for translators — professional or volunteer, Arabic and Hindi especially — to expand the global reach of Murray’s writing; for help transcribing and subtitling his recorded talks; and for organizers who want to convene events or start a municipalist group where they live.
